Which TVET Colleges in Mpumalanga Are Still Open for 2027?
Applications for NSFAS funding for the 2027 academic year opened on 18 September 2026 and close on 31 October 2026. As of 22 October 2026, this application window is open. For the 2027 academic year, the application deadline is 31 October 2026. NSFAS has announced that there will be no extension of this application period. Submit your application within the published window and check the official NSFAS application guidance for any subsequent notices.
College admission and registration dates vary by institution and programme. Check each Mpumalanga college directly for its admission dates and NSFAS separately for funding dates.
Where to Apply for NSFAS in Mpumalanga

When you submit your application, remember to include the following documents.
- Copy of ID issued by the Department of South Africa
- If you’re non-SASSA, provide ID copies of the parent, guardian, or spouse.
- Non-SASSA applicants are to provide the latest payslip of parent, guardian, or spouse, appointment letter, Unemployment Insurance Fund letter, or retrenchment letter.
Disabled people are also eligible to apply for NSFAS as long as they meet the requirements.
