Which Colleges Offer NSFAS in Mpumalanga?
Mpumalanga province has three colleges that support NSFAS, which include:

- Nkangala TVET College.
These colleges strive to provide quality education and training to equip students with various skills they can apply throughout their lives. They offer a wide range of vocational, occupational, and skills training courses and e-learning programs.
The courses are designed to provide students with critical skills that are often scarce in different fields. They also provide practical experience to enhance the prospects of employment once the students graduate. Most vocational programs focus on developing skills among the students which can be used to solve problems in different fields.
All programs offered by TVET colleges in Mpumalanga are examined, quality-assured, and certified by Quality Assurance Bodies, including QCTO and UMALUUSI. The courses offered by the colleges are recognized across different sectors in South Africa.
Which TVET Colleges in Mpumalanga Are Still Open for 2024?
NSFAS determines the opening and closing dates for applications, not individual colleges. According to NSFAS, all applications for the 2024 academic year have closed, which means no TEVT college is still open in Mpumalanga.
You can use online portals to check the late registration status of each college, but that does not change anything. NSFAS recently announced that no late applications would be accepted. Instead, applications for the 2024 academic calendar have been opened.
Applications for Mpumalanga Colleges for the 2024 academic year are accepted from April through November. For more information about NSFAS applications, you can visit the websites of different colleges in the province or the official website of NSFAS.
Where to Apply for NSFAS in Mpumalanga
You can apply for NSFAS online in Mpumalanga. Ensure you have a tablet, smartphone, or computer with access to the internet before you start applying online. - Click on apply, upload or update your information, and provide all the required supporting documents.

When you submit your application, remember to include the following documents.
- Copy of ID issued by the Department of South Africa
- If you’re non-SASSA, provide ID copies of the parent, guardian, or spouse.
- Non-SASSA applicants are to provide the latest payslip of parent, guardian, or spouse, appointment letter, Unemployment Insurance Fund letter, or retrenchment letter.
Disabled people are also eligible to apply for NSFAS as long as they meet the requirements.
